Antenna Masts
AB-577/GRC
A 5" diameter military mast originally used for point-to-point microwave applications. Base mast is 50 feet with extension to 75 feet possible using the MK-806/GRC extension kit. We have sold hundreds of these units for amateur and commercial radio applications. These are no longer widely used by the military and the surplus supply has mostly dried up.
AB-621/G and AB-621A/G
The big brother of the AB-577, this is a 6 " diameter, 50 foot mast with significantly increased antenna load capacity. The mast is guyed in four directions. The more recent AB-621A/G is guyed in three directions and has an extension kit to 100 feet.
We have a good supply of major structural parts for these masts, but do not currently have any complete systems. Please contact us if you need parts.
AB-155/U
A 40 foot military mast designed to support wire antennas. Commonly used with a variety of RTTY shelters.
AB-86/GRA-4
Another 40 foot military mast designed to support wire antennas or be used as a vertical antenna. Commonly used with a variety of RTTY shelters.
PA2 Mast
A commercially available portable mast built by South Midlands Communications. The mast is 2" diameter aluminum and capable of supporting medium size antennas. The configuration that we have is setup for supporting an inverted-V antenna.
